Show Notes

  1. Coming In From The Cold: The UTF Revolution is on its way back from a long journey near the edge of the galaxy.
  2. Howard Jones on Get Jacked!: If you want to hear some live cuts from Howard Jones along with a full-length interview, check out this episode of Get Jacked! with Jack Elias.
  3. Derelict Ship: On its way back to civilization, the crew encounters an ancient vessel that’s been adrift in space for hundreds of years. The UTF Triple-G used to carry rock bands around the cosmos and disappeared sometime during the Motley Crue farewell tour.
  4. Noises In The Dark: The captain quickly finds that he is not alone aboard this vessel, even though there are no life signs and no power signatures aboard. Strange noises keep echoing through the dark corridors, and something seems to be coating the captain’s space suit.

    Freaking awesome show!

    (turn on big announcer voice)
“What will happen to our beloved Matthew Ebel? Is it Adam Curry coming for him? It is Motley Crew wanting to take away Matthews ship? Find out next time on… Hiiiiigghhh Orrrrbiiiitttttt!
    (cough… cough… cough… )

Sorry got too much into it. ;-)

  3. Mel Sullivan Says:

So I’m trying to find/buy the Building Our Own Future song and can’t find it anywhere! eMusic - nothing. iTunes - nothing. Howard Jones’ website - nothing.

    Any ideas?

  4. Matthew Ebel Says:

    Mel-

Not a clue, honestly. It may be an advance release from an upcoming album, but that’s my best guess. Sorry!

    Pax,
    Matthew

  5. Peter Bailey Says:

Where are you Matthew? We are all hanging out to find out what happens. Has our hero been sucked into an alternate universe of corporate radio? The suspense is killing me, or maybe that’s just indigestion… :)

  6. Bob Marcus Says:

I’ve found some great “runnable” tunes by artists whom you present in Ghost Ship I and II (Orbit 34 and 35). I’ll be playing them on my podcast, The JogTunesIndie Podcast, soon. Just wanted to let you know that I found Lucky Day’s album, All My Rainy Days, and the song, Rainy Day, in iTunes. Here’s the song link in case you want to add it to your show notes: LINK Rainy day is too slow for running but Time Will Only Know, from the same album, rocks for running at 177 BPM. Just perfect.
    Thanks for all you do.
    Bob
