What? New Episodes are Coming?

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

More or less, yes. The robots and I have been caught in a very special Christmas adventure, complete with 5 new Christmas recordings from yours truly. Since this one’s not just an episode, it’s the official Matthew Ebel Christmas album, it’s going to be available as a CD or on iTunes/Amazon/Etc.

All the other episodes are still available for free right here, though. Tune in, hopefully there will be more soon!

Fuel The Revolution!

Monday, May 11th, 2009

So it’s been more than seven months (Earth Calendar) since the last episode of High Orbit came out. Has the show faded? Is it totally done for? Has the UTF Revolution finally run out of fuel for the last time?

God, we hope not.

The only way this ship is going to keep flying is with your contributions. Every time we hit our target amount, we’ll crank out another episode. If you’re one of our top sponsors, you’ll even get a mention in the show!

For God’s Sake, Go Vote

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

No, seriously. Why are you reading this post? It had better be because you’ve already voted or you’re not an American. If that ain’t the case, put the laptop/iPhone/Blackberry/8-core Mac Pro with 32G RAM/Palm/Etch-a-Sketch down and get to the polls.

The blogs will be here when you get back.

OMGRecording?

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Yes, yes, it’s been a full fiscal quarter since I recorded an episode. I know I said I’d never apologize for the irregular schedule, but this is gettin’ ridiculous. I’m beginning to think that once I get this episode done, I’m going to attempt running High Orbit in seasons. Meaning I’ll come up with about 25 shows a year and then take a few months off. Not sure, just an idea, but it might help to keep the UTF Revolution on track.

In the mean time, I’ve got another episode in the works right now. Stay tuned!

Anybody got a Zune™? Um, anyone?

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

As you can see in the sidebar, I added a “subscribe by Zune™” link… I just don’t know if it actually works or not. So if any of the three of you that own one could give it a try, I’d appreciate it! Thanks.

Where The Heck Has High Orbit Gone?

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

Goodbye Planet EarthNowhere, actually. We’re all right here… but the droids and I are currently working our fleshy and metal butts off on a new album. Seriously, it’s called Goodbye Planet Earth and it’s taking up all of our time right now. Fortunately, it’ll be finished soon and we can get back to the fun stuff. Like almost being blown up, fighting off space zombies, and so on.

Look Ma, No Hands!

Sunday, July 1st, 2007

That phrase is often used before someone tries something very stupid.

Well, I’m going to try and point highorbitpodcast.com like a real domain name… meaning no more [tag SHARETHIS.addEntry({ title: "Look Ma, No Hands!", url: "http://highorbitpodcast.com/2007/07/01/169/" });

Why Pre-Roll Will Never Touch High Orbit

Friday, June 29th, 2007

Chris Penn when he got fed up with a certain company’s new ad campaign. There’s just something about a long, long, LONG pre-roll placement that makes a podcast not worth listening to.
