Yes, yes, it’s been a full fiscal quarter since I recorded an episode. I know I said I’d never apologize for the irregular schedule, but this is gettin’ ridiculous. I’m beginning to think that once I get this episode done, I’m going to attempt running High Orbit in seasons. Meaning I’ll come up with about 25 shows a year and then take a few months off. Not sure, just an idea, but it might help to keep the UTF Revolution on track.
In the mean time, I’ve got another episode in the works right now. Stay tuned!

Nowhere, actually. We’re all right here… but the droids and I are currently working our fleshy and metal butts off on a new album. Seriously, it’s called Goodbye Planet Earth and it’s taking up all of our time right now. Fortunately, it’ll be finished soon and we can get back to the fun stuff. Like almost being blown up, fighting off space zombies, and so on.

It’s true! Podcasting not only sells albums and tracks on iTunes, but it makes money for the podcasters as well.
Here on the High Orbit Podcast, every link to iTunes or CD Baby is an affiliate link, so if you buy someone’s cool album from those links, I’m supposed to get a small commission.
Well, my first check arrived in the mail today, and I couldn’t be happier. See, look at the joy on my face!
See? You actually can earn money from podcasting! It’s true! With this single check I could… well, play some tunes in a jukebox, or buy one single iTunes track, or buy 1/3 of a small latté.
Yeah, the check is for a whopping $1.09, but it’s a small battle won against the RIAA. Isn’t it? Right?
So I finally have the High Orbit Podcast back online. Granted, I still need to record a new episode, but it was something of a chore just to get the domain name back in my control again. Note to self… don’t register a domain for anything less than a decade. Ever.
