Fuel The Revolution!

Monday, May 11th, 2009

So it’s been more than seven months (Earth Calendar) since the last episode of High Orbit came out. Has the show faded? Is it totally done for? Has the UTF Revolution finally run out of fuel for the last time?

God, we hope not.

The only way this ship is going to keep flying is with your contributions. Every time we hit our target amount, we’ll crank out another episode. If you’re one of our top sponsors, you’ll even get a mention in the show!

Operation Roll Call

Friday, October 6th, 2006

A few months back I asked you to help get the attention of a sponsor for this podcast. Now I’ve got a few companies interested, but they’re all asking me the same question… How many listeners do you have? You know I want to bring you live music every week, but I can’t do that unless one of these companies helps me out. All I need from you is a little help drawing a crowd!

I need your help to make this happen!

The Mission:

High OrbitHere’s the mission— and it’s a very simple one: Get a friend or two to subscribe to High Orbit

All they need is iTunes or Juice or any other podcatcher program. If they’ve got a Palm or Windows Mobile gadget, there are ways to subscribe there as well. Just point ‘em at this page:

Two Love Notes From Your Captain

Wednesday, June 21st, 2006

I’m Wired, But My House Isn’t:
Comcast hates my house, and we’re currently in the process of courting it back. Hence, no episode until I can upload it. I recorded the thing on Father’s Day, but it probably won’t get out until Wednesday night. God bless technology, eh?

Operation Horned Horse:
For those that haven’t heard, I plan on taking High Orbit all over the US, recording live performances in as many towns as I can travel to. Got a favorite band that’s playing 2,000 miles away from you this weekend? I want to send you the live recording, and others like it every week. Are you old enough to remember Led Zepplin or Grateful Dead live bootlegs? I aim for nothing less than to bring full-quality live shows to the fans, 52 weeks per Earth year.

Unfortunately, a show like this will cost money. More than Wayne’s World, but fortunately a lot less than MTV Unplugged.
