Look Ma, No Hands!

Sunday, July 1st, 2007

That phrase is often used before someone tries something very stupid.

Well, I’m going to try and point highorbitpodcast.com like a real domain name… meaning no more [tag SHARETHIS.addEntry({ title: "Look Ma, No Hands!", url: "http://highorbitpodcast.com/2007/07/01/169/" });

Show Notes

  1. Collapse of the Captain: So I nearly collapsed outside of a coffee shop somewhere in the Bongo system. Not fun. Fortunately, I ain’t gonna die. Even more fortunately, I got pictures!
    Matthew In The ER
    Matthew Getting Wired
  2. Innerspace: And for those that want a closer look, here are a couple of snapshots of what’s actually inside my head. Seriously. When you show up at the ER complaining of dizzyness and nausea, they scan your cranium.

    Contrary to popular opinion, there is indeed a brain in there.
    CT Scan
    And one of my favorite shots:
    Matthew's Skull

I did a bit of remedial editing to the posts around here- took a captain about three hours, too. Added Technorati tags to everything and updated the links so I could move the site to its own server without having to change everything again, no matter what server it’s on.

Apparently, though, if you sneeze hard enough around this thing, the entire RSS feed re-syncs itself. So if your podcatcher downloaded every single track once again, my apologies.

This episode rated PG. Send your complaints here. Sorry about the technical issues with this one, too, it’s my first videocast. Get off my back!

The Beer & Coffee CD Release Party was a smash hit. We’re still waiting for the pro audio recording to come back from the engineer, and we’re editing the full video as I write this, but I just had to share a bit of the evening with you as part of my podcast. This is a little ditty I call “Single Man’s Lament”, and it’s dedicated to all the ladies out there in space.
